You may recall our ’M&A rumblings’ coverage from the end of February.
Back then, market talk was that AP Møller-Mærsk (APMM) had approached Belgium’s Euroports Group, the owner of Antwerp-based Manuport Logistics, as Premium wrote:
“A €550m-revenue freight forwarder that (…) benefits from that set-up as it ’can leverage [Euroports] group assets’, including: owned terminals and port facilities; warehousing and storage capacity; as well as ’specialised cargo handling capabilities (bulk, breakbulk, liquids, temperature-controlled)’.”
Specifically, Manuport Logistics was labelled as a very attractive target …
